Neva has an extensive business background, ensuring there is an innovative, motivating and infinitely practical touch to their material. They apply a unique blend of laughter and tears throughout their presentations as they open your eyes to how broken relationships are and how to restore them to all they were meant to be.
Norm obtained his Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Providence Seminary in Manitoba, Canada and has been in professional private practice since 1982.
As a relationship specialist, Norm has been asked by lawyers on several occasions to submit his opinion as an expert witness on abuse. In each of these cases the lawyers involved agreed to settle out of court based on the information that Norm had submitted.
Norm was one of only two Canadian Counselors chosen to represent Canada at the 1999 Dallas Fort Worth Conference where 40 international counselors gathered for the purpose of discussing the world wide counseling industry. Their primary focus was to consider how they could improve counseling practices globally and to develop the first known seminal work in consideration of the benefits of having an International Federation of Counselors.
Norm has served his professional associations in various executive positions. He’s been the Founding Vice President of one, the President of another as well as the Vice President of his Canadian national professional association.
Together with Neva who has served in upper management in two corporations, they have established and directed four counseling centers in Western Canada. They currently operate a private practice along with providing retreats, seminars and consulting on counseling and abuse issues.
